Divorce is, for all intents and purposes, a death.

 

 

As with any sort of grief, divorce creates a sort of vaccuum inside one’s soul. One experiences not only grief, but guilt, shame, loneliness, and anger. But throughout this process, through all these stages, we are healing our hearts and being prepared for a brighter future, with the help of Allah, and are able to find acceptance and even hope again.
